[All of these songs I really associate with Valen in some way - they apply to some part of his life or character. Bad Things and Sugar apply to his husband and the stuff they get up to 🫠 Black Honey, It Will Come Back, and Dangerous Thing speak directly to Valen's character and the things he's done]

[He dresses pretty simply - a lot of dark colours and the words 'comfortable', 'tactical', and 'utilitarian' come to mind. Valen doesn't mind spending more on items that he really likes and knows will last him for a long while. About 40% of his attire is gear for work; lots of tactical clothing that gives him a bit of protection and holds his other gear. Such as holsters, tac vests, and other related things.]

A while ago I mentioned that I wanted to start a couple of simple tag games to give my friends and mutuals more chances to talk about their OCs. This is one of them! If this isn't something you're interested in, then there's no pressure to interact with this post ♡

Why these pictures: I feel it's a pretty good mix of things that are particular to Valen and his character. Pics 1,6, and 7 are specific to his work as a private contractor; they're good examples of gear he'd wear for a contract, but 7 is more professional and is closer to his uniform given by the company he works for, Ares Systems. The centre picture is the closest faceclaim I could find for him. Pics 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 are more to do with his life outside of work and things I like as general inspo for him; things he wears daily, things he likes to do (riding his motorcycle, going out for take-out with friends/his husband, going to the beach/ocean, etc), his body type, and so on. Why these pictures: Vesper is on the younger side, only 25, and he's a bit edgy, but still cutesy. Pic 1, 2, and 6 are pretty typical workwear for him; he's a netrunner for a criminal syndicate called Archangel. He dresses comfortably and covered up so his tattoos aren't visible. He needs to be able to run and fight, if needed. Centre pic is his faceclaim - it stuck instantly, unlike Valen's. Pics 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 have to do with his character, outfits he usually wears, body type, etc. Ves likes doing his nails with cute little designs, he really likes racing dirtbikes, and he loves black clothing. Why these pictures: Vega's character is reflected pretty well in how she dresses. A lot of black, a lot of leather, a lot of gold details and hardware. Most of the time, she makes sure her clothing is functional; lots of leather and denim because it's durable and tough. She's a nomad and spends a lot of time out in the deserts and forests around California, Nevada, Oregon, and Utah. Pics 2, 6, and 7 are indicative of her hobbies, which is fixing up old cars and bikes. Taking care of vehicles and racing them seems to run in the family. Vega specifically likes to repaint them. Pic 9 speaks to these big, rowdy nomad parties that she attends - they're her favorite, and they're more akin to a rodeo. Faceclaim: Adria Arjona

I always say this.

I won’t let people take the things I love.

And once you start avoiding the things to don’t like you’ll find the things you do.

I find the people who scream the loudest, make the most noise, and are always in some sort of drama are usually the ones causing all the issues.

Once I started to purge those people from my life is when I truly feel like I can enjoy the things I did again.
